Jazz: The theme of the piece is “grassroots, low-tech collaborative computing.”
As tech giants dismantle themselves under their own weight, small community driven technology can be the driving continuation of how people use and progress computing. The track overlaps simple ideas to create complex polyrhythms and polymeter to represent collaboration. With a range of natural and lo-fi instruments, as opposed to obvious computing sounds of harsh synthesizers, the style reflects the rejection of oppressively complex technology as well as capturing the collaborative efforts that helped build the internet in its infancy
